Mr. President You’re so deceitful Why do you have such destructive hands? I work so hard to make my money Then I have to give it back To Uncle Sam and the greedy man The social media Controls the masses Open your eyes up and understand And to the house and My representatives Why can’t you keep the country running, man? We say that times up [We the people] We say we’re here to stay [Are the power] Black lives matter [We the people] And that we’re proud and gay [Are the power] Another gun is drawn [We the people] Another sad day [Are the power] Too many kids are gone [We the people] We need to change our ways [Are the power] Mr. President We can be peaceful Until you take away our rights as man We have to fight we cannot run Unlike the coward with a gun Who kills the young We need to run this ban You wanna touch her You wanna lust her Control your fingers dirty, dirty man For single mothers Illegal fathers Every day we say that “Yes We Can!” Our Muslim brothers [We the people] Feminist sisters [Are the power] And for the Mexicans [We the people] And Puerto Ricans [Are the power] It’s time we rise up [We the people] And make a stand today [Are the power] We cannot give up [We the people] We need to lead the way [Are the power]

about

A song dedicated to anyone who has devoted their time and efforts towards the good fight. With the recent elections and the current political climate, it has been evident that many have felt the need to get up and speak out.

Wether you are far left, far right, or somewhere in the middle, the opportunity to have your voice heard is what makes our nation prideful and unique.

Our message is simply this, tolerance is the key to a strong union. Be willing to listen to one another, and be open to a compromise. And if our basic rights are challenged, we must unify in order to challenge the source of that threat. For we the people, are the power!
